Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Q ~ What if I want you to manage my social media for a while, but not forever?

A ~ That's great! We have a minimum term of 3 months, so that we can research, study your analytics and insights, prepare your strategy, engage, test hashtags, create scroll-stopping graphics, video, reels, prepare great content and posting at the optimal times - all this takes time, so we've found a 3-month minimum period is optimum to get a good grasp of your social media accounts, and who your audience is ... we believe in test test test to really nut out how best to achieve your social media dreams.

Q ~ If I work with you, how quickly will I get results?

A ~ How quickly we see results and what exactly those results are, depends on many factors - whether we're managing your Social Media or Digital Marketing and you already have a following and engaged followers, and where you’re at in your digital marketing journey.
Taking on a client who has a large and established following is a very different journey to a business who's new on the scene, or a business whose socials are stagnant. It will also depend on how much you’re investing, what assets you have to work with, what you're willing to invest in paid advertising, how much you'd like to be involved in engaging on your acocunts, and how ready you are to get stuck into testing your strategy. The big questions here are, WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS and HOW QUICKLY DO YOU WANT TO GET THERE?

If you’re interested in working with us, email us at admin@hellomedia.team and say Let's do this!

Q ~ When you're managing our social media, do you need any involvement from me at all??

A ~ Interacting with your followers and community needs to be a joint effort. Whilst our team can respond to your customer’s comments and queries, you might want or need to get involved in that too.
Ideally, you'll invest 5-10 mins per day jumping onto your social accounts and engaging in your newsfeed. Confused? We'll share how to do that, it's easy!

Q ~ How can we make payment?

A ~ When we take you through the onboarding process, you'll submit your credit card details and will then have your monthly payment deducted on the same date each month. This system makes it all so easy, and we absorb the fees!

If this doesn't suit, we can send you a recurring invoice so that you can pay via direct debit from your bank account.
In cases where clients request to pay using Paypal, we pass the charges on to the client.

Q ~ Why are payments always upfront?

A ~ That's just how we work! We like to avoid the awkwardness of chasing people for money, because that's not fun for anyone!
Charging in full upfront isn’t just better for us – it’s also better for our clients. We're all about simplifying processes not just for our clients, but for ourselves, too! Automation and systems that make your business run more smoothly is the best way to make your payment systems efficient ~ and that's why we charge upfront!

Q ~ If I'm ready to take over the social media management myself how do I cancel my arrangement with you?

A ~ Cancellations require four weeks notice to terminate. We start preparing your content a month in advance so to ensure we don't work on your account; research content, create artwork, graphics, and videos, we need plenty of notice to terminate. Just a simple email or message through your private Messenger Support Team chat will do, it's easy!

Q ~ Will I still be the owner of my business social accounts?

A ~ Absolutely! We require only some logins or admin access to work on your accounts, but you remain the owner. We will never ask for your Facebook login - that's yours!
For Pinterest, Youtube and Google Business Profile we can take you through how to grant us access.

Q ~ Can I keep all of the artwork and videos that you create for us?

A ~ Absolutely! We have no nasty clauses in our T&C's as so many do, so anything we create for you, is YOURS. In fact, we hope you repurpose it and treat it as evergreen content ... some you'll want to keep going for years!

Q ~ Can I have a personalised package?

A ~ Of course! Our Digital Marketing and Social Media Management packages are our most popular, but for some, you just need something super specific, so absolutely we can create individualised packages that may include extra social media platforms (just don't ask us for TikTok!) or extra blog posts or twice as many newsletters each month, Youtube videos etc. The options are endless, get in touch!

Q ~ How is your digital online course content delivered?

A ~ Each course includes videos and guides which are delivered as pdf files and workbooks.

Q ~ Am I able to use these guides with my own clients?

A ~ For sure! The content you buy in my online courses is original, and you're welcome to utilise the prompts, questions, and resources shared inside each course or guide as part of your own client process.

Q ~ What is a domain name and why do you need one?

A ~ Your domain name is your digital address that people will use to access your website. You need one so that people can find you and get connected to your site.

Q ~ Do you have a refund policy for your online courses?

A ~ Due to the nature of online/digital content, refunds are not offered. If you have questions, please get in touch at hi@hellomedia.team before you purchase and we'll be happy to help!

Q ~ How do I purchase a domain name? Who do I use to host my website?

A ~ You can purchase a domain name AND have your site hosted through our favourite provider, XYZulu and we have worked with them for 15+ years, and highly recommend the amazing Brad Baker, founder of XYZulu. Click here for more info.

A website host is basically where you content lives online. Don't be fooled by CHEAP hosts! More than anything you need to have SECURITY and a BACK UP plan in place.

Q ~ What do I use Google Analytics for?

A ~ Google Analytics is a great tool to help you understand your customers and how they are interacting with your website. You can find out which of your pages are most visited and how long visitors spend on each page. It can really help you improve your website and ultimately boost your bottom line!

Q ~ How do I choose a platform for my new website?

A ~ After discussions with us, we'll have a clear idea about what will work best for you. We consider things such as; price, ease of use, template designs and how that website platform can grow with your business.
Most importantly, will you be managing it, uploading blogs, updating images etc, or will you want it all done for you. Understanding your needs will make it easier to know how to guide and advise you.

Q ~ What if I already have a website and it just needs an overhaul?

A ~ We LOVE giving your website a complete refresh so it reflects your business, branding and message PERFECTLY! Chat with us about how we can work with you to present something fresh and fabulous to the world!
We can either guide you to do it yourself, or we can do it for you!

Hello Media coaching is a little bit different ... we also have a team behind the scenes ready to help you realise your dreams. The Hello Media dream team!

Q ~ What's the difference between a business coach and a mentor?

A ~ A business or professional mentor is someone who shares their knowledge, skills and/or experience, to help you to develop and grow.
